The Stowe Prize Soundscape:

This art project, activated by motion sensors, played an aural experience around Harriet’s house and in the garden.  Qiana "DJ Q-BOOGIE" created a 50 minute mix that blends music and words from the Stowe Collections, James Baldwin, and 2021 Stowe Prize winner Dr. Eddie S. Glaude Jr. to tell a story of race in the United States. Visitors of all ages were invited to experience this moving sound art installation featuring the genres of spoken word, jazz, blues, classical, hip hop, gospel, and funk.
